SEO Expert in Dubai
for Businesses Across the UAE
I’m Syeda Maleeha, a freelance SEO specialist based in Ajman. I help businesses in Dubai and across the UAE rank on Google with on-page, technical and off-page SEO. You work with me directly, and you get plain monthly reports instead of jargon.
Why SEO matters for UAE businesses
Google handled 93.47% of all searches in the UAE in September 2026 (StatCounter). When people in Dubai look for a service, they almost always start there.
Getting a page to rank is not automatic. An Ahrefs study found that 96.55% of pages in its index get no traffic from Google at all. The main reasons it gives are simple: nobody searches for the topic, the page has no backlinks, or the page does not match what searchers want.
Good SEO fixes those three problems. It picks topics people search for, builds trust through links, and shapes each page to match the search.
What my SEO service covers
Keyword research
I use Semrush, Ahrefs and Google Search Console to find the terms your buyers use, how often they search them and how hard each term is to rank for. Then I group keywords into clusters, so one strong page can rank for many related searches.
On-page SEO
I write and improve page titles, meta descriptions, headings and content around those clusters. I add internal links, image alt text and clear calls to action, so each page is useful to people and easy for Google to understand.
Technical SEO
Technical problems can stop good pages from ranking. I check site speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile layout, indexing and crawl errors in Google Search Console, broken links, redirects, duplicate pages and schema markup. Google’s SEO Starter Guide is the base I work from.
Off-page SEO and link building
I build links from real websites in your industry through guest posts, niche edits and local listings, and I avoid paid link schemes. Read more on my white-hat link building services page.
SEO content writing
I write service pages and blog posts that answer real questions, with facts and sources. Clear, specific content earns links and keeps visitors reading.
Ecommerce and Arabic SEO
For online stores, I improve category and product pages and fix filters that create duplicate pages. If you serve Arabic speakers, I set up Arabic pages with the right language tags and right-to-left layout, and research Arabic keywords instead of translating English ones.

How long does SEO take?
Google says SEO usually takes four months to a year from the time changes are made. Here is what a typical plan looks like:
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Month 1 | Audit, keyword research, technical fixes, Google Search Console setup |
| Months 2 to 3 | On-page work on main pages, first new content, first links |
| Months 4 to 6 | More content and links, early ranking gains on easier keywords |
| Month 6 onwards | Growth on harder keywords, more traffic and leads |
Newer websites and very competitive keywords take longer. Local SEO and technical fixes on an existing site often show results sooner.
Why hire an SEO freelancer instead of an agency?
With me, the person you speak to is the person doing the work. There is no account manager in between, and you can reach me on WhatsApp. I keep my client list small so I can give each site proper attention.
An agency can make sense if you need a large team across many channels. For most small and growing businesses, a focused freelancer gives better value. I compare both in more detail on my digital marketing consultant homepage.
What your monthly SEO report includes
- Clicks, impressions and average position from Google Search Console
- Rankings for your main keywords
- Pages and links added that month
- Technical issues found and fixed
- The plan for next month
Signs your website needs SEO help
- Your site does not appear when you search for your main service and city
- Traffic dropped after a website redesign or a move to a new domain
- Google Search Console shows pages that are not indexed
- Your pages load slowly on mobile
- Competitors with weaker services rank above you
- You get visits but very few enquiries
Each of these has a different cause. A free audit tells you which one is holding you back, so you do not spend money on the wrong fix.
Questions to ask before you hire any SEO
Google’s own guide suggests asking an SEO a few direct questions before you hire them. Here is how I answer the main ones:
| Question | My answer |
|---|---|
| Can you show me examples of your previous work? | Yes. You can see Search Console screenshots on this page and reviews on my Upwork and Fiverr profiles. |
| Do you follow Google Search Essentials? | Yes. I use white-hat methods and avoid link schemes and keyword stuffing. |
| What results do you expect, and when? | Early technical gains in weeks, ranking gains usually over four months to a year. |
| How will you report progress? | A monthly report with Search Console data, rankings and the work done. |
| Who will do the work? | Me. I do not pass your site to a junior team. |
Who I work with
Most of my SEO clients are e-commerce stores, service businesses and software or app websites. Many also sell on Amazon, so I can plan SEO and marketplace work together.
My technical SEO checklist
| Area | What I check |
|---|---|
| Indexing | Important pages indexed, no accidental noindex tags, clean XML sitemap |
| Crawling | Robots.txt correct, no broken internal links, sensible redirects |
| Speed | Core Web Vitals in the green for mobile, images compressed, caching on |
| Mobile | Readable text, tap-friendly buttons, no layout shifts |
| Structure | One H1 per page, logical headings, clear internal links |
| Schema | Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ or Product markup where it fits |
| Duplicates | Canonical tags set, no copies from filters, tags or old domains |
| Security | HTTPS on every page, no mixed content warnings |
I work through this list in the first month and fix what I can directly. Anything that needs a developer goes into a short, clear list for your team.
On-page SEO: a simple before and after
Small changes to the most visible parts of a page often make the biggest difference. Here is a typical example for a cleaning company page:
| Element | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Page title | Home | ABC Services | Deep Cleaning in Dubai | ABC Services |
| Main heading | Welcome to our website | Deep Cleaning Services in Dubai Marina and JLT |
| Opening text | General company history | What the service includes, price range and areas served |
| Internal links | None | Links to related services and the booking page |
The after version tells both people and Google what the page offers in the first few seconds. I make these changes across your main pages before building new content or links.
What makes a page worth ranking
Google wants to show the most helpful page for each search. In practice, the pages that rank well in Dubai and the wider UAE tend to share a few traits:
- They answer the searcher’s question in the first few lines
- They include real details, such as prices in AED, areas served and timelines
- They show proof, like photos of real work, reviews and results
- They cite sources for facts and statistics
- They are easy to read on a phone, with short paragraphs and clear headings
I write and edit pages with this list in mind. It is also the standard I used for this page, with sources listed at the bottom.

Frequently asked questions
How much does SEO cost in Dubai?
Published guides show SEO packages in Dubai from about AED 4,500 to 15,000 per month, and local SEO from about AED 1,500 to 5,000 per month (Global Media Insight). I give you a fixed monthly price in AED after a free audit.
Can you guarantee first page rankings?
No. Google says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. I can show you my process, my past results and clear monthly progress.
Do you offer Arabic SEO?
Yes. I set up Arabic pages with the right language tags and right-to-left layout, and research Arabic keywords separately.
Do I need a blog for SEO?
Not always. Many service businesses rank with strong service pages. A blog helps when your buyers search for questions and guides before they buy.
Will you need access to my website?
Usually yes, for Google Search Console, Google Analytics and your website editor. I only ask for the access each task needs.
How do I know SEO is working?
Watch clicks, impressions and enquiries over months, not days. Your monthly report shows each one and how it changed.
Want to grow your Google traffic?
Send me your website address. I will reply on WhatsApp with a free SEO check and the first three things I would fix.
